Texas Instruments TI or property of an American company based in the city of Dallas in Texas. Founded in 1947 by Erik Jonsson, Eugene McDermott, Patrick E. Haggerty, and Cecil H. Green was, TI by Geophysical Services Incorporated (GSI) charged with the production of the newly invented transistor GSI generated. Eugene McDermott was a founding member of the GSI and employees as well. On the other hand, other founders of Texas InstrumentsJonsson, and green were also employees of GSI.

AL & M Division was organized as recently it was first renamed General Instrument. However, sinceis already an existing company called General Instruments, the company in 1957 with a new name such as Texas Instruments. Since 1988, Geophysical Service Inc. to become a subsidiary of TI.

Over the years, TI has become one of the leading companies in the world, and markets semiconductor and computer technology to be. He is currently the fourth largest company in the production of semiconductors worldwide after Intel and SamsungToshiba. There is also the number two provider of wireless chips for Qualcomm, the company and the supplier number of semiconductor analog and digital signal processors (DSP). In 1986, Texas Instruments, the thirteenth company to register their domain names TI.com. In 2010, Forbes Magazine Fortune 500 Companies, Inc. Texas is listed number 223.
