LCD projector

A (Liquid Crystal Display) LCD projector is the modern version of the slide projector and overhead projector. Unlike CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) displays, projectors, LCD projector does not operate according to the traditional projection-tube.

The LCD projector typically includes three separate LCD glass panels - one each for red, green, and blue video signal. The chip is transparent liquid crystal, and if a strong source of light is passed through them, every single pixelconverts the light and projects the image through a lens or data on the screen.

The LCD projector technology revolution began in the mid-1990s, when manufacturers use the microdisplay and the combination of light and imaging started in one unit. Following this development, Compaq has introduced a lightweight data projectors-the first in 2000 - MP1400 - the DLP (Digital Light Processing) from Texas Instruments today. With most LCD projectorsSupport VGA resolution up to 800x600 and 1024x768. They are usually also for the screening of a video-standard VCR, DVD decoder, and many of them are for use at home, as the front-rear-projection TV specialist known.

The main advantage of the LCD projector is that since the LCD chip miniature size, the entire device is very compact, which is very handy, especially for mobile professionals. Most LCD projectors are generally able to generate2000-2500 ANSI lumens with 1024 x 768 VGA resolution, that a better image quality. Power consumption is also relatively low. And compared to CRT projectors (which are still in production), the LCD versions, at the right price. For example, the Sony VPL-CX1 Superlite LCD projector costs about $ 2,000, but can still produce images of great quality.
